One of the cheaper electric skateboard options on the market, the Skatebolt has all the bells and whistles you’d expect. With a top speed of 25 MPH, this thing is quick so hold on tight. The only downside with this one is the battery housing. As the screws go through the top of your board, vibrations from riding will unscrew them. Be sure to tighten things up every time you ride.

Picking the right deck size for your electric skateboard has a lot to do with your height. A full-board is designed for those taller than 5 foot three, whereas a mid-board is for those taller than 4 foot five and a mini-board is best reserved for those taller than 3 foot five.
Everything you do on an electric skateboard is operated by the controller you hold in your hand. This controller allows you to speed up, slow down and brake altogether.
This is highly dependent on the country in which you live, however, for the most part, electric skateboards are not street legal. In most states, they cannot be registered and therefore can only be used on footpaths and private land.
