Beaumont one of the select stops on the elite Nitro Circus Tour

Mar 15, 2023

The tour is coming to Beaumont October 22, 2023.

Nitro Circus and Round Room Live will bring extreme, high-flying stunts to Ford Park later this year.

The event will place on October 22 as part of Nitro Circus' 20th Anniversary Tour across North America.

The show is being presented by PublicSq., a marketplace that "helps connect patriotic consumers to American-owned businesses that love the freedom our nation represents," according to a news release.

Since 2003, Nitro Circus creator Travis Pastrana has showcased extreme sports stars, whose daredevil stunts and comedy sketches have entertained and thrilled audiences worldwide, the release said.

Pastrana is a former pro FMX rider and NASCAR driver and has often been the first to attempt new dirt bike and BMX stuns, according to an online profile.

In addition to tours and live shows, Nitro Circus has grown into a media company producing television shows and documentaries featuring extreme sports like BMX and FMX riders, skaters and scooter action riders.

Nitro Circus has sold over 3 million tickets to events worldwide and are televised in over 60 countries.

The anniversary tour will celebrate 20 years of death-defying tricks from some of the world's best extreme riders, including dual BMX and scooter rider Ryan "R-Willy" Williams, freestyle motocross (FMX) star Jackson "Jacko" Strong and Aaron "Wheelz" Fotheringham.

The production will also feature the circus’ iconic 50-foot Giganta ramp and the latest FMX kickers and landers – the launch ramps and airbags used in extreme stunts.

"These innovative set-ups will give athletes the tools to take action sports to new heights as they attempt huge, never-before-done tricks," the release stated.

The anniversary tour is taking place at indoor arenas like Ford Park for the first time in five years, as they’ve primarily performed at outdoor venues.

"They’re playing only medium- to large-sized arenas and doing 11 shows in the first wave of the tour. So, we are very lucky to be on that first wave," said Oakview Group and Ford Park Sales and Marketing Manager Richard Doss.

The Beaumont stop is one of only three in Texas, with the other two in Fort Worth and Corpus Christi.

"Ford Park has had some extreme moto shows, like BMX stunt riders during intermissions on the Monster Nation shows here, but we’ve never any extreme nitro moto shows on this scale," Doss said. "This is the high-end version of those shows, so this is a pretty big deal."

Tickets will go on sale in June with a pre-sale for fans online on June 13, and a general public sale beginning June 16. Tickets start at $35.

Visit nitrocircus.com to register for the pre-sale.
