FHSAA 2024 high school football playoff brackets after Week 9

Nease remains the No. 1 overall team in the state on the FHSAA power rankings, but the Panthers are getting some competition.

Nease has a power ranking of 24.515. It is the only team in the state with a ranking of 24.

Lakeland is No. 2 at 23.995, just ahead of Venice (23.907). The First Academy (22.563) jumped up to No. 4.

Venice (7A), Nease (6A), Lakeland (5A), Jones (4A), Miami Central (3A), Gadsden County (2A), The First Academy (1A) and Union County (Rural) are the top overall seeds in their respective classes. The No. 1 seed in each class is guaranteed home field advantage through the state semifinals.
