Additionally,itwasfoundthatcracksinthehigh-tensioncordexposedittowater.Thisexposureledtoleakedignitionoutputaffectingspeedsensorsandthrottlepositionsensors.Consequently,vehiclesexperiencedproblemslikestartingfailuresandspeeddisplaymalfunctions.

InaseparaterecallaffectinginternationalmarketsincludingIndia,vehiclesmanufacturedfromMay05,2023,toApril23,2024,areimpacted.InIndiaspecifically,thisrecallconcernstheV-Strom800DEmodellaunchedinMarchatanintroductorypriceofRs10.30lakh.Approximately67unitsofthismotorcycleareaffected.
